Originally a native of Liberty, Mississippi; reared by strong, southern, spiritual parents who believed in the power of prayer. To this union 14 children were born; seven sons and seven daughters; he being the ninth child born.
           
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky; a Master of Divinity in Christian Education from Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  He has studied as a Proctor/Booth Fellow at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.  He has also studied (extension program) at Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana and Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia.  He also has a Certification in Expository Preaching from the E. K. Bailey Ministries’ Conference on Expository Preaching in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Faust has been pastoring, preaching and teaching for over 25 years, and promoting and directing Christian Education equally the same.  He has pastored and served churches in Louisiana, Georgia and Texas.  He has taught and shared in the role of preacher, lecturer, Bible teacher, keynote speaker and presenter in various churches and ecumenical gatherings, at Men’s Retreats, Leadership Conferences, Church Retreats, Seminars, and Workshops, Bible and Ministerial Institutes as well as a presenter in Career Days for Youth & College Students.  He has also conducted revivals throughout the United States.

Dr. Faust has served as pastor, teacher, Staff Minister of Training and Development, and Christian Education Director.  He is also a Certified Christian Counselor.  He has along with his wife completed training in Foster and Adopted Parenting with One Church One Child of Southeast Texas, Inc. in Beaumont, Texas.  He completed his Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) as a Resident Chaplain at the Methodist Hospital System in the Texas Medical Center, and is now a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). He currently serves as a Staff Chaplain in the Methodist Hospital; a multi-cultural and multi-religious context of 7,000 employees and 1000 patients.

He is currently serving as the founding pastor of New Life in Houston, a Christian church in Houston, Texas.  Pastor Faust has a burden for families, developing men and women for community development.  Because of this burden he started A2Z Human Development Services, a network of ministries and services.  He is the President of The Adullam Connection, a national ministry that empowers men, which hosts a bi-monthly men's breakfast, “The Brothers Brunch” as one of its initiatives in Houston, Texas. 

Because of his love for preaching and teaching, he founded New Global Life Ministries, a ministry of Evangelism, Discipleship, Mission, Christian Education, and Training and Development.  God has also given him a pastor/servant’s heart.  His ministry has developed into a more comprehensive and far reaching ministry: pastor/preacher/teacher/equipper (training & development), prophetic/priestly (social action), evangelistic (missions), counselor, chaplaincy, and servant/leader.  His focus is to serve the church and community as minister, teacher, counselor/mentor, chaplain, and spiritual leader using his experience, training and acquired skills to improve the quality of life for others.

He and his wife Zandra have been married 23 years and currently reside in Houston, Texas.
